On our first day of filming, i gathered some of my friends that were going to be in the film to get ready for production. Then as it got dark we met with megan and Rachael, and headed up to goffs school car park, in Cheshunt.
Outside the school was a good area to film in because plenty of lighting which was beneficial when filming a night time scene. Around this time it was about 5:30pm.
The characters in our film worked really well together and with us. They responded well to what they had to do which was a real help to make the production all round alot better.
We managed to get the first half of the filming done, with not too many stalls in filming. Then By around 6:00pm it started to rain, so we came to a decision to film again on a date in the week.
By this time we had all of the 'journey home' filmed, so all that was left to film was the flashforwards.
Once we got to school with the footage we had so far, we uploaded the film onto the computer and checked to see if any of our shots needed re-filming.
As we expected, all of our shots were fine and we could now start editing and cutting, taking away some footage as it had talking or laughing in it.
Filming and editing so far has been successful, although the software on the computers did repeatedly crash and delete our work, but everyone in the class had this problem. We came to a conclusion that we have to save our work after every significant piece of editing had taken place.
