In our production we have used a montage of shots as our opening.
We have filmed a range of natural scenes to use in our montage as i feel these link with our production because the feel of our music video is very natural and calm.


I have used the film Freaky Friday as inspiration. At the begining 50 seconds of this film there is a montage of pictures which is accompanied by music.

• There is a clear sense of style in your countryside shots
• You have created quite a magical effect – reminds me of Pans Labyrinth (check this out)
• At the moment your train sequence doesn’t seem to fit with the overall style – if you return to this location it may help at the moment it doesn’t link to the subject
• Have you increased speed at the start? Is this necessary?
• Love the shot of your singer framed by the fence – more of interesting framing please!
• There’s a dodgy edit on the cut to the MCU
• Costuming works well
• Think about using different transitions and also superimposing shots on different video tracks
